This 12-module kit delivers 384GB of DDR5 4800 registered ECC memory for the Dell Precision 7960 rack or tower workstation. Each 32GB module operates at 1.1V with CL40 latency in a 2Rx8 organisation. The 288-pin RDIMM form factor fits the workstation's DDR5 slots directly.

Sustained load behaviour

Registered buffering and on-die ECC keep data integrity intact during continuous server-class workloads such as virtualisation, rendering or scientific computing. The 1.1V operating voltage limits thermal output across all twelve modules when the workstation runs at full capacity for extended periods. CL40 timing provides predictable latency under heavy multi-threaded demand.

DDR5 interface limits

The PC5-38400 standard caps transfer rate at 4800 MT/s, so bandwidth cannot exceed this specification regardless of processor capability. Registered DIMM topology adds one clock cycle of command delay compared with unbuffered modules, a fixed constraint of the RDIMM protocol. Twelve dual-rank modules load the memory controller heavily, which may restrict maximum achievable frequency on some platforms.
