Orico
Tool-free transparent enclosure takes one M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD up to 4 TB and connects at 10 Gbps over USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
Size M.2 NVME SSD
The Orico TXM2 is a transparent M.2 NVMe enclosure with a tool-free sliding cover. It accepts single M-Key or B+M-Key NVMe and B+M-Key SATA SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. The metal chassis aids heat dissipation while the clear shell shows the installed drive. No drivers are required on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.
The USB 3.1 Type-C connection delivers up to 10Gbps with NVMe drives and 6Gbps with SATA drives. UASP and TRIM support maintain consistent throughput and prevent performance degradation over time. An intelligent sleep mode spins the drive down after ten minutes of inactivity to reduce wear. Maximum supported capacity is 4TB.
This enclosure replaces older USB 3.0 or SATA-only adapters that cap at 5Gbps or 6Gbps. The jump is worth it when moving large media libraries, cloning system drives or running portable operating systems at near-internal speeds. It does not support PCIe AHCI, B-Key SATA or mSATA modules, so buyers with those drive types need a different solution.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The enclosure runs at 6Gbps for SATA protocol, so a SATA M.2 SSD will operate at its native speed without being limited by the USB link.
The LED indicator flashes during active transfers; you can also verify the link speed in your OS device manager or run a quick benchmark to see NVMe drives near 10Gbps and SATA drives near 6Gbps.
The package contains the enclosure and a USB 3.1 Type-C cable; no extra cable purchase is required for a USB-C host port.
