Eight 16 GB DDR3 1866 ECC registered RDIMMs add 128 GB of error-correcting memory to compatible servers and workstations
Capacity 128GB (8 x 16GB)
Rank 2Rx4
This 128GB kit contains eight 16GB DDR3 1866 modules built to JEDEC PC3-14900 CL13 specifications. Each 240-pin RDIMM operates at 1.5V with ECC and registered buffering for data integrity in multi-socket platforms.
DDR3 RDIMMs at 1.5V draw modest power and run cool enough for dense server chassis with standard airflow. No heat spreaders are fitted, so case ventilation handles the thermal load without extra fan noise.
The modules use a 2Rx4 organisation with registered ECC, so they only work in workstation, server, NAS or router platforms that explicitly support registered memory. Standard desktop boards and unbuffered DIMM slots will not accept this kit.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Populate matched DIMM pairs across the two channels following the motherboard's slot-colour guide; the step often missed is seating every module until both ejector clips click, otherwise the registered buffer stays offline.
No routine maintenance is required; if a module fails the ECC scrub logs will flag the specific 16GB stick, and only that stick needs swapping because the kit is not soldered.
The 1.5V supply and registered buffer latency (CL13) cap sustained throughput before thermal throttling, since the modules have no heat spreaders.
