16 GB DDR3 1333 ECC registered RDIMM kit for Dell PowerEdge R920, T410, T610 and T710 servers
Capacity 16GB (2 x 8GB)
This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB registered DDR3 modules built for Dell PowerEdge servers. It targets administrators upgrading R920, T410, T610 or T710 platforms that require ECC registered memory. Standard desktop boards cannot use these modules because they expect unbuffered DIMMs.
The single decisive attribute is the registered ECC design with a 2Rx4 rank layout. Only systems that explicitly support registered error-correcting modules will POST with this kit; mixing it with unbuffered memory will prevent boot.
Two 8 GB sticks populate two slots and leave remaining DIMM sockets free for further expansion on supported chassis. The kit reaches its practical limit when all registered channels are filled or when the platform’s maximum registered capacity is reached.

Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The modules run at 1333 MHz DDR3 speed with CL9 latency, delivering the standard PC3-10600 data rate for registered ECC memory in these systems.
PC3-10600 sets the maximum JEDEC transfer rate for DDR3 1333; the registered buffer and ECC add a small latency overhead but maintain data integrity in server workloads.
They require a standard 240-pin DDR3 DIMM socket and the registered RDIMM form factor; no heat spreader is fitted, so they clear normal server memory cages.
