8GB DDR4 2666 ECC registered RDIMM for Synology SA3400, SA410, SA3600 and SA3610 NAS systems
Capacity 8GB
Rank 1Rx4
This 8GB DDR4 2666 ECC Registered RDIMM is built for Synology SA3400, SA410, SA3600 and SA3610 systems. It replaces the D4RD-2666-8G and D4ER01-8G modules with a single 1Rx4 288-pin stick. The module will not work in standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered or load-reduced memory.
Operating at 1.2V, the module draws minimal power and runs without a heat spreader. JEDEC-standard signalling keeps thermals predictable inside dense NAS chassis. Backward compatibility with 2133MHz and 2400MHz buses allows the DIMM to clock down automatically when paired with slower slots.
The bare 288-pin PCB fits directly into registered DIMM slots on the supported Synology models. ECC registration adds a clock cycle of buffering for signal integrity across fully populated channels. ROHS-compliant assembly and 100% JEDEC compliance make the upgrade warranty-safe for the host system.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
Power off the NAS, open the chassis, align the notch on the module with the slot key, press firmly until both ejector clips lock, then verify the new 8GB capacity in DSM before closing the case.
No routine maintenance is required; the module has no heat spreader or moving parts, so replacement is only needed if a memory error appears or capacity must be increased.
The CAS latency of 19 cycles at 2666 MHz sets the response-time floor, so latency-sensitive tasks hit that timing boundary before bandwidth saturates.
