The Synology RS826+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage server built for edge locations, remote offices, and growing business environments. It uses a 2.2 GHz AMD Ryzen V1500B four-core, eight-thread processor with 8GB DDR4 ECC memory installed. The unit ships fully assembled and tested with four 8TB Synology Plus drives for 32TB raw capacity and two 1.6TB enterprise cache modules for 3.2TB total cache.

Four 1GbE ports and a PCIe Gen3 slot for network

Four integrated RJ-45 ports provide 10/100/1000M connectivity with Link Aggregation for load balancing and automatic failover. A PCIe Gen3 expansion slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters when bandwidth needs increase. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow direct attachment of external storage or backup targets. The four drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs for flexible media choices.
