Ubiquiti Networks
Compact 5-port 2.5G managed switch with PoE input and USB-C power option
Model Flex Mini 2.5G
Struck-through versions exist but are not stocked here.
The Ubiquiti USW-Flex-2.5G-5 is a managed Layer 2 desktop switch with five 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports. It suits installers who need multi-gigabit connectivity in a compact form factor for enclosures or pole mounting. The unit delivers 25 Gbps switching capacity and 12.5 Gbps non-blocking throughput with a 19 Mpps forwarding rate. It supports 256 VLANs and a 4,000-entry MAC address table.
The switch accepts power from a USB-C adapter at 4.8–5.2V DC or via PoE input at 44–57V, consuming up to 5W or 6.4W respectively. One port serves as the PoE input; the remaining four ports provide 2.5 GbE data only. All ports operate at 2.5 Gbps with no 10 GbE uplink option. Jumbo frames, flow control, storm control and loop protection are supported at Layer 2.
Your network must run UniFi Network version 8.6.9 or later to adopt and manage this switch. Verify that your PoE injector or upstream switch delivers 44–57V if you plan to power the unit without the included 5V USB-C adapter. The switch does not supply PoE output to connected devices. Ensure the 117.1 x 90 x 21.2 mm footprint fits your enclosure or mounting location.

Other versions of this model
Same family, different memory, cooler or clock — compare before you commit.
The 5-port Flex Mini 2.5G fits tight spaces at 117.1 x 90 x 21.2 mm and uses a USB-C or PoE power source, while the 8-port Flex 2.5G is larger at 212.9 x 99.4 x 33.5 mm and needs an AC supply or PoE+ input.
The 25 Gbps switching capacity and 12.5 Gbps non-blocking throughput let all five 2.5 GbE ports run at line rate simultaneously, so multi-gigabit file transfers and camera streams move without internal bottlenecks.
With the included 5V, 1A USB-C adapter the switch draws 5W and provides no PoE output; using a 44—57V PoE source raises consumption to 6.4W but still only powers the switch itself, not connected devices.
