Twenty-four hot-swap 2.5-inch SAS/SATA trays connect to a PERC H730P 2 GB controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, so capacity scales until the bays or the controller throughput are saturated.

Dual hot-swap 1100 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load, keeping fan speeds moderate under typical utilisation.
