The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs dual Xeon E5-2620v3 processors and 96GB of DDR4 memory into a single rack unit. It targets organisations that need high core density and redundant power in constrained cabinet space. The system ships without an operating system, ready for virtualisation or database workloads.

96GB DDR4 at maximum capacity

All 24 DIMM slots are populated, so the installed 96GB sits at the processor-supported ceiling; further expansion requires replacing modules with higher-capacity DDR4 registered ECC DIMMs up to 64GB each. The Smart HBA H240ar controller manages up to eight 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, but the chassis holds no drives as delivered.

Redundant 500W supplies and 8-bay front

Dual hot-swap 500W power supplies provide N+1 redundancy without occupying extra rack height. Eight SFF drive bays with included trays sit at the front for tool-less media access. A Matrox G200 with 16MB video handles basic console output, freeing PCIe slots for additional networking or storage controllers.
