Dense 1U rack server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a dual-socket Intel Xeon E5 v3 platform into a single rack unit. One E5-2620 v3 six-core processor at 2.4 GHz is installed with 96 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across the 24 DIMM slots. A second processor can be added to reach 12 physical cores and 24 threads.

Sustained load behaviour

Redundant hot-swap 500 W power supplies keep the system running if one unit fails or is replaced. The Intel C610 chipset and 2400 MT/s memory ceiling support consistent throughput for virtualisation or database workloads. Eight small-form-factor drive bays accept SAS or SATA media behind the H240ar controller with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

Build and connectivity

The 1U chassis uses tool-less rails for quick rack mounting and front-access drive trays with screws supplied. Dual power inlets connect to separate circuits for fault tolerance. Video output relies on the integrated Matrox G200 with 16 MB memory for basic console access. No operating system is included.
