The ICY DOCK MB699VP-B fits four 2.5 inch U.2 NVMe drives into a single external 5.25 inch bay. Each drive connects through its own miniSAS HD SFF-8643 link for full NVMe bandwidth. The all-metal cage and trays are built for rugged medical, military and industrial use. Hot-swap trays let you change drives without powering down.

Suits builders who need four U.2 NVMe drives in one front-access slot with independent miniSAS HD links. Not for systems that lack four SFF-8643 host ports or that only offer SFF-8639 backplane connections. Not for 3.5 inch drives or drives thicker than 15mm. Four miniSAS HD SFF-8643 host connectors

Each of the four bays routes to a dedicated miniSAS HD SFF-8643 port on the back, delivering up to 32Gb/s per drive. The cage accepts U.2 NVMe SSDs up to 15mm high. Package includes the device, manual, ID plug and 28 screws.
