The MSI MEG Z590 UNIFY-X is an E-ATX motherboard built for Intel 10 and 11 generation Core processors using the LGA 1200 socket. It targets enthusiasts who want a clean layout and strong overclocking headroom on the Z590 chipset. The board supports dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 64 GB with a long list of validated speeds reaching 5600 MT/s.

Power delivery and connectivity

A 16-phase digital power design feeds the CPU socket while an enlarged heatsink array covers the VRM and chipset areas. Rear I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20 Gbps Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gbps Type-A, eight USB 3.2 Gen 1 5 Gbps Type-A ports and a 2.5 Gbps Intel I225-V LAN jack. Audio uses the Realtek ALC4080 codec for 7.1-channel output with S/PDIF.

With an 11 generation CPU the primary PCIe x16 slot runs at 4.0 x16, doubling the bandwidth available to current graphics cards compared to 3.0 x16 on 10 generation chips.
