This 512 GB kit contains four 128 GB DDR4 2933 modules built for servers and workstations that require ECC load-reduced memory. It is not compatible with desktop or laptop computers.

The DDR4 2933 interface caps data rate at 2933 MT/s with CL21 latency and 1.20 V operation. Systems that only support lower DDR4 speeds will downclock the modules, while platforms needing faster memory cannot use this kit.

Octal-rank 3DS/TSV density decides slot fit

Each module uses 2S4Rx4 (8Rx4) 3DS/TSV organisation, so the motherboard must support octal-rank load-reduced DIMMs. Boards limited to quad-rank or standard registered DIMMs will not recognise the full capacity.
