An 8 GB DDR3 1600 ECC registered DIMM for Dell PowerEdge 12th Gen rack servers
This 8GB DDR3 registered DIMM is built for Dell PowerEdge R320, R420, R420xr, R520, R620, R720, R720xd, R820 and R920 rack servers. It targets administrators who need ECC registered memory to maintain data integrity in these specific 12th generation platforms. The module will not work in desktop or laptop systems that require non-ECC unbuffered memory.
Operating at 1.5V with a CL11 latency, the module runs at standard DDR3 voltage for registered server memory. No heat spreader is fitted, so cooling relies on the server chassis airflow design. Registered buffering adds minimal electrical load compared with unbuffered equivalents.
The package contains one 240-pin 2Rx4 module rated at PC3-12800R. No additional brackets, cables or software utilities are included. Installation follows the server manual memory seating and channel guidelines for the listed PowerEdge models.
