The ACTi Z722 is a 4 megapixel fixed turret network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a 2.8mm fixed focal lens and a CMOS sensor to capture video at up to 25 frames per second at 2560 x 1440 resolution. The camera supports H.265 and H.264 adaptive streaming plus MJPEG compression. Power is supplied through PoE or 12V DC.

Suits single-camera installs needing color night

This camera fits installations that want color imaging in very low light without adding external illuminators. Its white LED reaches 50 metres and works with the IR LED for Smart Dual Light operation. Buyers who need motorised zoom or varifocal adjustment should look at a different model because the lens is fixed. Systems requiring more than two simultaneous streams are not supported.

2.8mm fixed focal length sets the field of view

The 2.8mm fixed focal lens determines the viewing angle and cannot be changed after installation. This focal length provides a wide overview suited to open areas such as yards or car parks.
