2MP Outdoor Fixed Dome

The ACTi Z910 is a 2 megapixel network camera built for outdoor surveillance. It uses a fixed 2.8mm lens and delivers 30 fps at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Integrated IR LEDs provide illumination up to 50 metres. The housing meets IP68 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-proof ratings for exposed mounting locations.

Upgrade from basic indoor units

This model replaces indoor-only cameras that lack weather sealing or sufficient night range. The jump is worth it when a site requires continuous outdoor coverage with 120 dB wide dynamic range to handle strong backlight. It also adds 1-way audio capture via a built-in microphone for event verification.

Sustained load behaviour

H.265 and H.264 adaptive streaming reduce bandwidth during constant 30 fps transmission. Dual-stream output lets recording and live view run simultaneously without dropping frames.
