The Acumen Disc AD31-USB is a standalone duplicator that copies one source USB flash drive to as many as 31 target drives simultaneously. It operates without a host computer, software or network connection, making it suitable for IT departments, duplication services and secure environments that need rapid, repeatable cloning of USB media.

Upgrades from single-drive or PC-based copying

Moving from manual one-by-one duplication or software tethered to a PC removes the bottleneck of a single USB port and eliminates host-system overhead. The jump is worth it when you regularly produce batches of 20 or more drives, need DoD-compliant sanitisation, or require asynchronous operation so each channel finishes at its own pace.

Slot-load installation with LCD-guided menus

Drives insert directly into the 31 front-facing Type-A slots and the source into its dedicated port; the 20 x 2 LCD walks through copy, erase and format choices. Common issues arise when non-compliant or external USB devices are used, when media speed limits actual throughput below the 35 MB/s peak, or when power cycling is attempted mid-cycle.
