The APC BK500BLK is a 500 VA standby battery backup with six NEMA 5-15R outlets. Three outlets provide battery-backed power and surge protection, while the remaining three deliver surge protection only. It accepts 98 to 140 V input and supplies 120 V output through a NEMA 5-15P plug. A sealed lead-acid battery recharges in eight hours and is user-replaceable with RBC2 or RBC2J packs.

Desktop and networking protection

This unit suits home-office PCs, routers, modems and phone-line equipment needing brief ride-through during outages. Data-line protection covers analog phone, fax, modem or DSL connections via an RJ-11 port. USB and DB-9 RS-232 interfaces enable monitoring and graceful shutdown software. 300 watt output limit
