Rackmount UPS for network gear

The APC SMT1500RMI2UC is a line-interactive UPS rated at 1500 VA and 1000 Watts in a 2U form factor. It protects servers, routers, switches and point-of-sale equipment from outages and voltage fluctuations. The unit ships new with a replaceable battery cartridge and management software on CD.

Input window and surge capacity

The UPS accepts an input range of 160 to 286 V at 50 or 60 Hz with automatic frequency sensing. It provides 459 Joules of surge energy rating to absorb transient spikes. Battery recharge completes in 3 hours after a discharge event.

2U chassis with mixed management ports

A 3.39-inch tall rackmount enclosure houses IEC-320 C14 input and multiple communication interfaces: RJ-45 serial, USB and a SmartSlot for optional cards. The unit weighs 63.14 lbs and carries CE, CSA, EAC, RCM, TUV and VDE approvals to EN/IEC 62040 standards.
