Smart-UPS X 2000VA for network hardware

The APC Smart-UPS X 2000VA is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed for servers, routers, switches and point-of-sale equipment. It delivers 1800 watts of sine-wave output from a 2U rackmount or tower chassis. A built-in network management card enables remote monitoring and control. External battery packs can be added to extend runtime for critical network applications.

Input window and outlet limits

The unit accepts an input range of 70 to 153 volts with an adjustable window of 75 to 154 volts at 50 or 60 hertz. It connects via a NEMA 5-20P plug and provides seven outlets: one NEMA L5-20R, three NEMA 5-15R and three NEMA 5-20R. Three switchable outlet groups allow staged load shedding during extended outages. Surge suppression is rated at 540 joules.

Rackmount build with replaceable battery

The 2U form factor fits standard racks and converts to tower orientation for floor placement. Sealed lead-acid batteries recharge in three hours and are user-replaceable using cartridge APCRBC117 or APCRBC117J. Management interfaces include USB, RJ-45 serial and the network card port. Audible alarms signal battery operation and low-battery conditions with configurable delays.
