Integrated AMD RDNA 2 graphics output over HDMI and DisplayPort handles display duties for processors that include graphics.
4+1+1 Dr.MOS phases handle steady 65W loads
A 4+1+1 power phase design with Dr.MOS transistors feeds the CPU socket during sustained workloads rather than brief bursts. The board exposes one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with 15 µ gold contacts for the primary graphics card and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for add-in cards. Storage includes a CPU-attached Hyper M.2 socket for PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe drives, a chipset M.2 socket supporting PCIe Gen3 x2 or SATA 6 Gb/s modes, and two SATA 6 Gb/s ports. RAID 0 and 1 are available on SATA; M.2 NVMe RAID 0, 1 and 10 require extra expansion cards.
Rear I/O and front headers cover daily connectivity
The rear panel provides five USB 3.2 Gen1 ports — two Type-A, one Type-C and two more via front-panel headers — plus Realtek Gigabit LAN and Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel audio with Nahimic processing. An M.2 Key E socket accepts Wi-Fi modules for wireless networking. BIOS Flashback and ASRock Auto Driver Installer simplify firmware updates and driver setup without an operating system installed.
