The ASRock Rack SPC741D8-2L2T/BCM is a CEB form-factor motherboard built for one 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor up to 350 W TDP. It uses the Intel C741 chipset and provides eight DDR5 288-pin slots running at 5600 MT/s for a maximum of 2 TB registered memory.

Expansion and networking layout

Four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots with CXL 1.1 support plus two MCIO connectors at PCIe 5.0 x8 serve accelerator or storage cards. A third MCIO connector offers PCIe 3.0 x4 or four SATA 6.0 Gb/s lanes. Dual 10 GbE ports use Broadcom BCM57416 and a separate Intel I210 provides 1 GbE management.

DDR5 registered memory requirement

Only DDR5 RDIMM or RDIMM-3DS modules are supported; unbuffered or older DDR generations will not work. Builders needing unregistered memory or a different memory standard must choose another platform.
