AM4 socket with 16-phase power

The board fits AMD AM4 processors from the Ryzen 2000, 3000, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series families. A 16-phase digital PWM design is rated to supply an extra 300W to the CPU, and the Hyper BCLK Engine II adds base-clock tuning headroom. Builders who need a newer socket or a different chipset must look elsewhere.

PCIe 3.0 and Gen 3 M.2 limits

Two full-length slots run at PCIe 3.0 x16 while a third operates at PCIe 2.0 x16, and two more x1 slots use PCIe 2.0. The primary M.2 socket connects through PCIe Gen3 x4 or SATA3; the second M.2 socket is limited to PCIe Gen2 x4. Systems that require PCIe 4.0 bandwidth or more than two M.2 drives at Gen3 speed cannot be satisfied here.

64 GB DDR4 ceiling

Four DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR4 up to 64 GB total, with validated speeds including 3466+ (OC), 3200, 2933, 2667, 2400 and 2133 depending on the installed processor. Memory controllers on Ryzen 2000 through 5000 G-Series CPUs determine the actual ceiling. Users who need more than 64 GB or a different memory type cannot use this board.
