This ASUS TUF GAMING B850M-E WIFI motherboard fits AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors in a micro-ATX form factor. It targets builders who want a compact board with current connectivity for gaming or AI workloads. The AM5 socket supports future CPU upgrades without a board change.

8+2+1 80A DrMOS power stages

The 8+2+1 phase design uses 80A DrMOS stages on an 8-layer PCB with alloy chokes and durable capacitors. ProCool 8+4 pin connectors feed the VRM while an enlarged heatsink, M.2 heatsink and PCH heatsink dissipate heat under sustained loads. Hybrid fan headers and Fan Xpert 2+ keep airflow matched to temperature.

PCIe 5.0 x16 and M.2_1 slot

One full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and one M.2_1 slot running PCIe 5.0 x4 are wired directly to Ryzen 9000 and 7000 CPUs. Ryzen 8000 CPUs drop the graphics slot to PCIe 4.0 x16 and the M.2_1 slot to PCIe 4.0 x4. This CPU-dependent lane allocation decides whether the board delivers peak bandwidth for your chosen processor.
