The be quiet! Pure Base 501 LX is a mid-tower chassis that accepts ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards. Seven expansion slots and a tempered glass side panel suit gaming or workstation builds. Two 3.5 inch and five 2.5 inch internal bays provide room for mixed storage.

Thermals noise and power

Four pre-installed 120 mm fans give immediate airflow through front and rear positions. Additional mounts allow two 140 mm fans at the front, one 140 mm at the rear and two 140 mm at the top. Radiator support reaches 360 mm at the front, 240 mm at the top and 140 mm at the rear for liquid cooling.

Build quality and connectivity

ABS and steel construction with a tempered glass window creates a rigid, quiet enclosure. The 368 mm GPU clearance and 178 mm CPU cooler height accommodate most modern components. A 200 mm power supply limit means longer units will not fit.
