Compatible DDR3 upgrade for Gigabyte Z77 boards

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB unbuffered DIMMs built for the Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI, GA-Z77P-D3 and GA-Z77X-D3H motherboards. Each module runs at 1600 MHz with CL11 11-11-11 timing at 1.5 V. The kit targets owners of those three boards who want to add or replace memory without compatibility guesswork.

Sustained-load behaviour at DDR3 1600 CL11

The modules operate at standard JEDEC voltage and timings, so they maintain their rated 1600 MHz speed during extended workloads without requiring manual voltage increases. Unbuffered 2Rx8 organisation and the absence of a heat spreader mean thermal headroom depends on case airflow rather than on-board cooling. Systems filled to the board’s 32 GB maximum will see the same latency and voltage characteristics per module.

Straightforward two-stick installation

Installation follows normal 240-pin DIMM procedure: align the notch, press until the retention clips click, and power on. The board accepts 1066, 1333 or 1600 MHz modules, so the kit will down-clock automatically if the BIOS defaults to a lower speed. Builders who need ECC, registered DIMMs or capacities beyond 32 GB total cannot use this product. No heat spreader is included, so tight clearances around large CPU coolers are not a concern.
