Dell OptiPlex Micro & All-in-One Upgrade

This 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB DDR4 SO-DIMMs rated at 2666 MHz with CL19 timing. It targets Dell OptiPlex 3070 Micro, 5070 Micro, 7070 Micro and 7470 All-in-One systems that accept 260-pin unbuffered non-ECC memory. The modules run at 1.2 V and use a 2Rx8 organisation.

Replacing Slower or Smaller Factory Modules

The kit fills both SO-DIMM slots to reach the platform maximum of 32 GB. A 64-bit operating system is required to address more than 4 GB. Installing matched pairs lets the memory controller run in dual-channel mode. If existing modules remain, all memory will operate at the speed of the slowest installed stick or the processor limit.

DDR4 SO-DIMM Platform Limits

The 260-pin DDR4 interface caps transfer rates at the JEDEC standard speeds supported by the CPU and chipset. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the compact Micro or All-in-One chassis determines thermal headroom. ECC and registered modules are not supported on these platforms.
