Targeted upgrade for HP Z600 C2 workstations

This 8 GB kit contains two 4 GB DDR3-1333 registered ECC DIMMs built specifically for the HP Compaq Workstation Z600 C2 revision. The modules run at 1.5 V with CL9 9-9-9 timing and use a 240-pin form factor. They are validated for the Intel 5520 chipset C2 stepping and will not function on earlier board revisions.

Replaces non-ECC or unbuffered memory in supported

The jump is worth it when the workstation requires registered ECC modules for error correction and the board carries the C2 revision of the Intel 5520 chipset. If only 4 GB modules are fitted, the OS may report as little as 3.5 GB usable depending on configuration. Matched x4 or x8 DRAM versions must not be mixed within the same bank.
