It fits a 2U rackmount or tower chassis and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets fed by a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 10 ft cord. The unit suits network closets, server racks and workstation groups that need battery-backed power with automatic voltage regulation.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under battery power the output holds 120 Vac ±10 % at 50/60 Hz ±1 % with a simulated sine-wave form. At half load the internal sealed lead-acid pack delivers approximately 18 minutes of runtime; at full load this drops to roughly 6 minutes. Recharging the user-replaceable RB1270X4F battery set takes about 8 hours, while audible alarms signal on-battery, low-battery, overload, missing-battery and fault conditions.

Upgrade Context

The USB and serial ports plus optional SNMP let PowerPanel Business Edition manage graceful shutdowns and monitoring across multiple systems. This model replaces smaller desktop UPS units when rack density, longer cord reach or centralised software control become requirements. It is not suited for loads exceeding 900 W or for equipment that demands a pure sine-wave output.
