Floating base design

The darkFlash Floatron F1 is a Micro ATX mid-tower case built around a floating expansion base that lifts the chassis for improved bottom and side airflow. The open structure supports up to nine 120mm fans, five 140mm fans and a 360mm radiator, making it suitable for high-performance air or liquid-cooled builds. Builders who want a distinctive look with extensive cooling headroom will appreciate the elevated layout. The design does not suit buyers who need a compact footprint or integrated lighting.

Back-connect motherboard ready

The interior layout is optimised for back-connect Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, allowing cables to route behind the board for a clean front appearance. A bottom-mounted power supply bay accepts ATX units up to 200mm long, while the GPU clearance reaches 425mm and the CPU cooler limit sits at 185mm. Three 3.5in and two 2.5in drive bays provide storage flexibility. Builders who require E-ATX support or a second graphics card cannot use this chassis.

Tool-free four-side panels

Magnetic dust filters on the top, side and bottom panels snap off without tools for quick hardware access and easy cleaning. The side I/O panel supplies a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio for modern peripherals. A tempered glass side window displays the internal build. Users who prefer a solid steel side panel or front-mounted USB ports will not find those options here.
