The Dell OptiPlex 5060 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running up to 4.1 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB 2.5-inch solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse are included, making it ready for immediate deployment in general-office and light-productivity environments.

Fits tight spaces and standard peripherals

The SFF chassis occupies minimal desk room while providing two DisplayPort outputs for dual-monitor setups. Front and rear USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports handle keyboards, mice, external drives and other accessories. Two PCIe card slots allow the addition of a discrete graphics card or other expansion boards when workloads demand more than the integrated Intel UHD Graphics can deliver.

Low-heat 65 W processor keeps acoustics down

The i5-8500 carries a 65 W thermal design power, so the compact cooler moves modest airflow and stays quiet during typical document, web and video-conferencing tasks. Integrated graphics eliminate the extra heat and noise of a separate GPU. The included DVD-ROM drive adds negligible power draw. Power consumption scales with workload but remains well within the limits of the factory power supply for the configured components.
