This genuine Dell backplane fits the PowerEdge C6220, C6220 II and C6300 server enclosures. It accepts twenty-four 2.5-inch SFF SAS or SATA hard drives and solid-state drives. The board connects to RAID controllers through SFF-8087 Mini-SAS connectors. It is built for data-centre, cloud and high-performance-computing deployments that need dense, hot-swappable storage.

Under continuous operation the backplane maintains drive connectivity for all twenty-four bays without interrupting the server.
