This server fits environments that need up to eight 3.5-inch hot-plug SAS or SATA bays and hardware RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60. Four onboard 1 GbE ports and five PCIe slots (three 3.0, two 2.0) handle networking and expansion. It is not for buyers who need a second processor installed, who require more than 48 GB of memory from the factory, or who depend on 2.5-inch drive bays.

Although the platform supports up to 384 GB when fully populated, this unit arrives with 48 GB as its installed maximum and the memory speed will follow the processor capability up to 2400 MT/s. Any memory upgrade must use DDR4 modules in the twelve available slots.
