The Dell PowerEdge R630 packs two Xeon E5-2687W v3 processors running at 3.1 GHz, each with ten cores and 25 MB cache. With 384 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed and support for up to 1.5 TB, the 1U chassis targets virtualisation clusters, database nodes and high-performance workloads that demand strong single-thread speed and large memory capacity. No drives are included, so storage can be tailored to the application.

Redundant 495 W supplies and iDRAC8 Enterprise

Dual 495 W power supplies provide N+1 redundancy while the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller with Enterprise licence enables out-of-band management, virtual console and lifecycle automation. The PERC H730 SAS controller manages up to ten 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives in the front bays. Network connectivity includes two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports via Intel I350 and X540 controllers.
