Should I choose the 48 GB configuration or add more DDR4 modules up to the 24-slot limit?

The board has 24 DDR4 slots and supports up to 1536 GB total. The installed 48 GB uses only a few slots, so you can add 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB modules later without replacing existing memory.
