Compact dual-CPU server

The Dell PowerEdge R630 packs two Xeon E5-2620 V3 processors and 32GB of DDR4 into a 1U rack form factor. It targets IT teams that need dense compute for virtualisation or database workloads in limited rack space. The system supports up to 1536GB of memory across 24 DIMM slots for future growth.

Storage and RAID included

Two 600GB 15K SAS drives ship pre-installed behind the H330 controller with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60 available. The eight-bay chassis accepts 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives, letting you expand capacity without adding enclosures. Redundant 750W power supplies keep the array running during a module failure.

Slide-in deployment
