The Dell PowerEdge R630 fits a single Xeon E5-2650 V3 ten-core processor at 2.3 GHz with 24 GB of DDR4 memory into a 1U chassis. It ships with two 300 GB 15K SAS drives and an H330 RAID controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. The platform targets workloads that need high core density and fast local storage in minimal rack space.

Dual redundant power and ten drive bays

Two hot-swap 750 W power supplies provide redundancy without extra cabling. The ten-bay 2.5-inch front panel accepts SAS or SATA drives, leaving room to expand capacity up to 14 TB per drive.
