The DELL PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack server built for midsize and large enterprise workloads. Two Intel Xeon E5-2683 v3 processors provide 28 total cores at 2.0 GHz base frequency. The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 24 slots.

Both CPUs reach 3.0 GHz turbo under heavy compute tasks such as virtual desktop infrastructure or database processing. The Intel C610 chipset and DDR4 2133 MHz memory subsystem maintain bandwidth during extended runs. Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies keep the platform stable when all cores are loaded.
