The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 processors running at 2.4 GHz with a 3.3 GHz turbo. Fourteen cores per socket and 64 GB of DDR4-2400 registered ECC memory give strong multi-threaded capacity for virtualisation, database and HPC data-node roles.
