This new Dell PowerEdge R730xd packs two Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 processors running at 2.4 GHz with six cores each. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 16 modules and a PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache. Two 400 GB SATA SSDs are installed in the 24-bay 2.5-inch chassis, which also supports SAS drives.
