Yes, the server is a 2U rack chassis and requires a standard 19-inch rack with at least 2U of vertical clearance. The included rails mount directly to the rack posts.

Can the Intel X550 10Gb RJ45 ports negotiate down to 1Gb speeds for my existing switches?

The NDC provides 2x 10Gb RJ45 and 2x 1Gb RJ45 ports. The 10Gb ports will auto-negotiate to 1Gb when connected to slower switches.

How do I confirm the H730P RAID controller sees all eight 1.2TB SAS drives after power-on?

During boot, press the indicated key to enter the H730P configuration utility. It will list each of the eight 1.2TB 10K SAS drives and their RAID status.
