Dual Xeon Gold 6148 processors and 512 GB of DDR4 memory deliver the compute headroom those tasks demand. Redundant hot-swappable power supplies keep critical services online during maintenance.

Rail kit and licensed OS accelerate deployment

A factory-supplied rail kit lets the chassis slide into standard racks without extra hardware sourcing. Windows Server 2022 Standard 64-bit with a 16-core licence is included, removing a separate procurement step for the hypervisor or application host layer. The PERC H730 12 Gb/s RAID controller with 2 GB non-volatile cache and the Broadcom BCM5720 quad-port 1 GbE controller are also integrated, so storage and networking are operational once drives are seated.

Eight 8 TB nearline SAS drives set the capacity

The array ships as 64 TB raw (8 × 8 TB) of 3.5-inch enterprise nearline SAS spinning at 7.2 K rpm on a 12 Gb/s bus. That drive count and interface define the maximum addressable storage before any expansion shelf is added. Buyers who need more raw capacity or all-flash performance will need a different chassis or external enclosure.
