It targets teams running software-defined storage, virtual desktop infrastructure or service-provider workloads that need local capacity alongside multi-threaded CPU power.

Sustained throughput under load

Dual 16-core CPUs at 2.6 GHz with 3.7 GHz turbo feed the PERC H730P controller, which manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across twelve 8 TB enterprise drives spinning at 7.2K rpm. Redundant 750-watt platinum supplies and four 16 GB DDR4-2666 registered ECC modules keep data moving during extended rebuilds or heavy VM migrations without throttling.

Replaces split storage-and-compute boxes
