The PowerEdge R760 fits two Xeon Gold 6430 processors, each running at 2.1GHz with a 3.4GHz turbo frequency and 32 cores. Together they provide 64 cores in a 2U chassis that supports 4th and 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The system ships with 512GB of DDR5-4800 ECC registered memory installed across 16 modules, leaving 16 of the 32 total slots free for expansion up to 8TB.

Redundant platinum power and managed airflow

Two hot-swap 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. The 2U rack form factor uses managed airflow to cool the dual processors, memory and storage subsystem under sustained load. iDRAC9 Datacenter provides remote thermal monitoring and power management without requiring host OS access.

Sixteen-bay storage and quad 1GbE networking

The front panel holds 16 hot-swap 2.5-inch bays supporting SAS, SATA and NVMe drives; four drive trays are included. A PERC H965i controller with 8GB NV cache manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across those bays. A Broadcom 5720 OCP 3.0 card adds four 1GbE ports, and Ready Rails with a front bezel are supplied for rack mounting.
