One hundred twenty-eight gigabytes of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory are installed across 48 slots, leaving room to scale toward the 6 TB maximum. The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through for the eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drive bays.

Thermals and power under load

Dual 1600 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load and provide full redundancy for continuous operation. Hot-swap capability means a failed unit can be replaced without shutting down the server. The 3U form factor allows sufficient airflow for the four-socket configuration while keeping acoustic output within typical data-centre limits.

Build, connectivity and remote management

Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for immediate rack integration.
