Four Gold 5118 CPUs deliver 48 cores at 2.3 GHz with 3.2 GHz turbo for high-throughput compute. The platform targets databases, virtualisation clusters and analytics jobs that need maximum core density in a compact chassis.

Storage and network limits

The PERC H730P controller supports SATA and SAS drives across eight 2.5-inch trays with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 modes. No drives are installed, so capacity and speed depend entirely on the disks you add. Networking is provided by an Intel X520/I350 daughter card offering two 1 GbE ports and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports; no additional onboard interfaces are present.

Memory ceiling decides fit
