With 768 GB of DDR4-2400 registered ECC memory across 24 modules, it targets databases, virtualization and real-time analytics that demand high core counts and large memory capacity in a 3U rack form factor.

Confirm your cabinet can accommodate a 3U chassis and that your power distribution can feed dual 1600 W platinum supplies. The system uses LGA 3647 sockets and the Intel C620 chipset with all four processor slots populated, so no further CPU upgrades are possible. Forty-eight DIMM slots exist in total; twenty-four are occupied by 32 GB modules leaving twenty-four slots open for growth toward the 6 TB maximum.

PERC H730P controller

The bundled PERC H730P adds 2 GB cache and supports RAID 0 1 5 6 10 50 60 plus pass-through for the eight 300 GB 10K SAS drives.
