The PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server built for workgroup collaboration, mail, file and print serving, and web serving in small or remote offices. Dual Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 processors supply 24 cores at 2.2 GHz with 2.9 GHz turbo, and 384 GB of DDR4 ECC memory fills every slot.

RAID controller and drive trays define storage scope

The PERC H730 1 GB controller enables RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and pass-through across eight 3.5" SAS/SATA trays. No drives are installed, so capacity and performance depend entirely on the disks you add. Dual 1 GbE ports and iDRAC 8 Express handle network and remote management.

Redundant power and fixed memory limit expansion

Two hot-swap 750 W platinum supplies provide redundancy, and the front bezel is included. All 12 memory slots are occupied, so no further RAM upgrades are possible. The chassis uses fixed rails, so rack depth and cable routing must be planned before installation.
