Walnut front-panel ATX mid-tower

The DIY-ATX28-Wood is an ATX mid-tower case built from steel and tempered glass with a genuine walnut wood front panel. It accepts ATX, Micro-ATX and ITX motherboards and provides seven expansion slots for graphics cards up to 380 mm long. Two 3.5-inch and one 2.5-inch internal drive bays handle storage, while the top-mounted I/O offers two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port and HD audio jacks.

Pre-installed PWM fans and radiator support

Four 140 mm black PWM silent fans come pre-installed, three at the front and one at the rear, delivering directed airflow with low acoustic output. The top panel accommodates up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans and radiators up to 360 mm for liquid-cooling builds. Optional fan mounts in the PSU shroud allow three additional 120 mm fans if extra intake or exhaust is required. CPU coolers up to 178 mm tall and power supplies up to 220 mm long fit without interference.

Cable routing channel and wood accent

A hidden routing channel behind the motherboard tray and generous rear clearance keep cables organised for a clean interior appearance. The walnut front panel adds a natural wood accent that distinguishes the case in a modern workspace while the tempered glass side panel displays the finished build. No power supply is included, so the bottom-mounted PSU bay remains ready for a user-selected unit.

The front panel is already integrated into the case frame; you do not remove or install it separately. The step people get wrong is forcing the tempered glass side panel off its hinge pins — lift straight up after releasing the thumbscrews.

What maintenance will the pre-installed 140mm PWM silent fans need later?

Clean dust from the four pre-installed fans and the front mesh every few months using compressed air; the PWM fans are sealed and do not require lubrication or bearing service.
