Walnut Wood Front Panel

The DIYPC DIY-G18-WD is an ATX mid-tower chassis finished in black steel with a tempered glass side panel and a walnut wood front accent. It supports ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards for a range of build sizes. Four 120mm PWM fans are pre-installed at the front and rear to provide immediate airflow.

Pre-Installed PWM Fans and Drive Bays

Three front and one rear 120mm PWM fans ship already mounted, reducing assembly time and delivering balanced intake and exhaust out of the box. The interior includes two 3.5in and three 2.5in drive bays for mixed storage configurations. Seven expansion slots accommodate full-length add-in cards.

Clearance Limits for Components

Graphics cards up to 340mm in length fit within the chassis, while CPU coolers are limited to 165mm in height. Power supplies up to 160mm deep can be mounted at the bottom. Radiator support extends to 360mm at the front and 280mm at the top for liquid cooling options.

How often do the four pre-installed 120 mm PWM fans need cleaning or replacement?

Dust filters on the front and top panels catch debris before it reaches the fans. Remove and rinse the filters every few months; the PWM fans themselves are rated for long life and rarely need replacement under normal use.

What thermal limit appears first when the system runs sustained loads with the stock cooling?

The case supports a front radiator up to 360 mm and a top radiator up to 280 mm. If you rely only on the four pre-installed 120 mm fans, GPU temperatures will hit their ceiling before the CPU cooler height limit of 165 mm becomes a factor.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when all four stock fans run at full speed all day?

At maximum PWM duty the four 120 mm fans move significant airflow, so internal component temperatures stay lower, but audible fan noise rises noticeably. Adding optional top fans — three 120 mm or two 140 mm — lets you lower each fan's speed for quieter, cooler operation.
